We seek a Tax Analyst/Accountant to join our tax team. Reporting to the Tax Compliance Lead, the select candidate will be responsible for tax return preparation, data analysis and documentation surrounding indirect taxes applicable on a global basis.

Duties:• Prepare monthly tax compliance including analyzing general ledger to monthly reporting and filling out necessary fuel and sales tax forms.
• Analyzing data to determine reasonableness
• Prepare month-end GL account reconciliations and necessary journal entries for multiple tax related accounts and numerous taxes/fees
• Assist with state and local tax regulation compliance through an understanding of the reported information
• Interact with taxing authority inquiries and auditors
• Performing research with respect to tax notices and responses as necessary
• Support the indirect tax audit function with data compilation to support audit responses and requests for information
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:• Associates Degree or equivalent experience in corporate accounting or a tax department
• Bachelor’s degree preferred with an emphasis in Accounting or related field of study
• Strong written and verbal communication skills necessary in order to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
• Ability to collaborate with team members
• Ability to effectively manage and execute multiple tasks, projects and priorities
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Ability to identify issues, compare data, investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Proven analytical problem solver
• Must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic
